I ordered appliances in June and I still don't have them in November. They've had my money since June though (pretty sure that's illegal). Good thing my old appliances are still working. The appliances wereready to be delivered in Sept, 3 MONTHS after I ordered them. Lowes claims this is Samsungs fault. However I still haven't received my rebates which I want BEFORE they take away my old appliances and I'm stuck with the new ones. I called customer service and was told to mail in a receipt from the store (I ordered online) that had my invoice number. The store claimed they couldn't give me a receipt but customer service could. Eventually I was given an invoice number but it ended up being the wrong number so I had to resubmit 2 months later after my first rebate submission was denied. They said I had to mail the resubmission, that I couldn't do it online. 6 weeks later they claim they never received my resubmission and they process it over the phone (why they couldn't do this to begin with is beyond me). So now it's been over 6 weeks since my re-resubmission and I call and they tell me resubmissions can take up to 8 weeks. Someone less patient would have canceled the order a long time ago.
Went in to get a key made in the hardware section. JD was making keys, I asked him if they do a price match like Home Depot and Walmart do sometimes, he looked at me like I personally offended him and he was the President of Lowe's...then he gets an attitude and says "Then go there, I hear the Walmart keys don't even work" I told him I wasn't trying to offend him, the guy looked tensed up and pissed off. He's very lucky I didn't feel like yelling in the face of an senior citizen yesterday because of his behavior. Here's a tip Lowe's Fairview Heights, don't put a mean old man on the hardware desk where he will be talking to be people and expected to use customer service. Put him in the back cutting 4x4's where he doesn't talk to anyone.
Thank you Kyle for our beautiful double doors and transom! We love them even more than we thought we would! You went out of your way to get us the leaded glass we needed for our Victorian style home. Sadly there are not enough of that style to choose from. You found out that Jeldwen would make for us the pattern we needed. It seems that those doors should have always been in our home. Thank you for taking your job so seriously. The Fairview Heights, IL store should acknowledge a job well done. Also, our installer, Jeremy truly did a gargantuan job in putting our doors in all by himself. He was so patient and did the best job putting them in correctly and perfectly. Thank you Jeremy! Waited an hour + for the flooring we ordered to be brought up from the back. Very applagetic and o don't blame the girl from customer service. It's just ridiculous that it took that long after arriving late to begin with.
I want to give a special thanks to JD at the Fairview Heights Lowes. I recently purchased a new home and wanted to change out the lock on my front door. JD not only helped me find the perfect lock but he keyed it to the key that matched my other doors and gave me some tips to make installation easier. It was so nice to have someone actually volunteer to help me and not just point me in a direction.
