Hello all! This post is pertaining to the L Douglas review below. We here at Luxury Looks try our best to meet the needs of all customers. Unfortunately some customers are just extremely hard to please. I did offer another service for a discounted price. I tried to please L Douglas on 2 occasions in 1 day. After I realized that there was no end to the continuous complaints, I did state that there was nothing else that could be done. This lady Sat in my chair and told me that the work that hairstylist do is a waste of money because she feels as if she could do the work better herself. She also made this same complaint to me about a stylist that she went to in Edwardsville. But I am a professional and 1 bad apple don't stop the show. My crochet braids started coming out 3 hours after Skyla did my hair. The front and top is a mess with 3 inch parts that look like large gaps. She fixed the loose hair by sewing it in. So now I have crochet braids and a sew in. My hair looks like it was done by someone who is just learning how to do crochet braids. If you dont want to be someone's test dummy take your money else where. I have photos to prove it.
My husband and son get their hair cut by Hank The Barber. They are VERY pleases with his work & the professionalism of thee entire shop. If you need a barber this is the place to be. Every Barber there seems to do a good job & the atmosphere is pleasant for children. There is No cursing, inappropriate conversations or negative music playing while you sit and wait for your turn. Everyone is friendly and they seem to be more of a family then co-workers. Overall you get an A+ experience!
